In between Boston and Istanbul via zoom meeting, it was such a privilege to meet those brilliant architecture students at Istanbul Technical University (1773-present). We talked and discussed what it means to be an architect in scientific career, in particular, in today's world; why we need scientific thinking (in architecture); the significance of "equity" in architecture; some recent discussions on this topic in the US architecture, and what can be done to make progress for more "equal" architecture in Turkey, and architects' responsibility for current problems in (the global) world, etc.
I wish all of those brilliant architecture students all success in their education and career. They are the future of architecture....
