I was so fortunate to work with this pioneering woman architect and urban designer at the Yeditepe University, Department of Architecture.
As the author, unfortunately, my original essay on Ayla Karacabey which I had submitted to the editor of "the Routledge Companion to Women in Architecture" has some differences from its published version in this book, in spite of my written requests (several times) before its publication. My published biography in "The Routledge Companion to Women in Architecture" also includes incorrect information unlike my submitted biography to its editor. (Academic sponsor of my advanced academic research project on Ayla Karacabey is the MIT-HTC; for 24 months).
