Our Research Committee’s book talk by Michelle Jackson-Beckett, Ph.D.

On May 9th, 2024, we came together for the book talk by Michelle Jackson-Beckett, Ph.D., design historian, the inaugural Curator of Rare Books at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum Library, and Research Committee member of Historic Interiors Affiliate Group-Society of Architectural Historians. She introduced her new published book, “Vienna & the New Wohnkultur, 1918-1938” with her emphasis modern history of domestic culture, modern interior living and design landscape from Vienna. This book talk has been organized by the Research Committee of the Historic Interiors Affiliate Group at the Society of Architectural Historians (HIG-SAH) with approx. 30 participants, has been recorded by HIG-SAH and is going to posted by the relevant SAH digital platform soon.
