MIT Alumni for Climate Action (MACA) Architecture Group Breakout Session at MACA Annual Meeting 2026

Following the announcement in the MACA December 2025 Newsletter (1), the inaugural breakout session of the MACA Architecture Group was held on January 18, 2026, as part of the MACA Annual Meeting. During this session, I delivered a brief 5-minute PowerPoint presentation introducing the MACA Architecture Group’s core objectives and its vision for contributing to climate action through active engagement with MACA, the MIT School of Architecture and Planning, and MIT Architecture Alumni. (2). Subsequently, participants were invited to share their primary motivations, expertise, and areas of interest related to architecture and climate change, and we explored collaboratively how to advance the MACA Architecture Group’s initiatives.

MIT is  the home of the oldest architectural course of study in the U.S. (3).
